* Based on a light novel series written by [Takezuki Jou] and illustrated by [Sikorsky]. The sixteen-year-old high school student [Kusanagi Godou] was running an errand for his grandfather, delivering a magic artefact to the Witch of Sardinia, [Lucretia Zola]. Before concluding his errand, however, he got himself caught up in a battle between Heretic Gods and met [Erica Blandelli], a 16-year-old Great Knight of the Copper Black Cross magic society. Together with her and the artefact, he managed to slay the Heretic God [Verethragna]; this achievement bestowed upon him the title of Campione, or God Slayer, and gave him Verethragna`s divine powers.
